This week’s story update on the Election Central Web site has some good news! The month-long federal government shutdown is over . . . for now.

Last Friday, the White House agreed to temporarily reopen the federal government, putting to an end the longest government shutdown in American history. But it may not be too long before the American people face another shutdown.
